The bellelli Research Centre is run by a dynamic team of young researchers and consultants, carrying out research and taking part in work groups that define international safety standards for car seats. The biggest producers of cars and car seats all take part in these work groups, together with delegates from the main consumer associations and the most important approval bodies, with representatives from all over the world.
bellelli is part of the Task Force entrusted with the definition of a testing protocol that offers a reliable assessment of the capacity of a car seat to minimise side-impact injuries. It is also active in the work group for defining assessment criteria for the ease of use of car seats, with the aim of minimising unwanted incidents deriving from incorrect fitting of the car seat in the car.
Sensitivity to these issues and the new testing facilities have permitted bellelli to develop and test a new range of easy-to-use car seats that are safe in any conditions.
